Parades:  Provide entire convoys of vehicles that are ordered by age, labeled in a way where the public can see what vehicles and associated gear were used in different wars and conflicts to ensure freedom.  Each war or conflict would be represented and large mobile banners in front of and behind each set of vehicles honoring local veterans who have made sacrifices defending freedom.
