The Honorarium: A Tribute to Sacrifice

The journey begins with a powerful emotional experience designed to foster empathy for our nation’s defenders:

Circle of Flags

A ring of flags representing all branches of military service encircles the U.S. flag and a “Title of Liberty.”

Memorial Wall

Digital and physical displays featuring the names, pictures, and stories of fallen soldiers.

Soldier’s Cross & Memorial Garden

A dedicated monument and a garden inspired by Arlington Cemetery and Omaha Beach, providing a space for reflection.

POW / MIA Camp

An area using media and artifacts to teach visitors about the unique sacrifices of those held as prisoners or missing in action.

The Honor Briefing

A 5-minute dramatic theater experience that explains the park’s purpose before visitors enter the conflict zones.

Conflict Zones: Interactive History

World War I

Experience “The Great War” through authentic trench warfare recreations — complete with reproduction uniforms, gas masks, and even the simulated scents of the era.

World War II

Our most immersive section includes replicas of Omaha Beach, the Ardennes Forest, and “Bunker Mountain”. Explore a European town that is quaint on one side and “bombed” on the other to see the impact of war on communities. Navigate the desolate terrain of Iwo Jima and the jungles of Guadalcanal through interactive historical adventures.

The Korean Conflict: The Forgotten War

Learn about the extreme conditions and “frozen” battles of the early 1950s and see how WWII hardware was adapted for the rugged, mountainous terrain of Korea, including the introduction of early jet-age support.

Vietnam War

Featured prominently is an authentic Vietnam Gun Truck, demonstrating the ingenuity of soldiers who up-armored their own vehicles to survive ambushes. Explore the gear and tactics used in unconventional warfare.

Gulf War / Desert Storm

Witness the transition to high-tech warfare, GPS, and night vision. See the massive 5-ton M923 and other “Desert Tan” hardware that proved the power of American logistics in the 1990s.

Vehicle Hangar

A massive collection of authentic tanks, Jeeps, amphibious DUKWs, and planes, some of which are modified for visitors to safely enter and experience.
